Mid-Continent Railway Museum | Ride the 100-year-old train and learn about the previous form of communication in America!

International Crane Foundation | Engage in their mission to conserve cranes worldwide, while seeing the majestic birds in a natural habitat.
Hours: They are currently closed for a massive renovation, reopening in 2020
Exhilarate your senses by visiting one of our lavender farms! These breathtaking sites will allow you to forget about the real world for awhile.

Rowley Creek Lavender | Family owned business located near the beautiful bluffs!

New Life Lavender | Not only is New Life a lavender farm, they also grow cherries and offer Farm to Table tours!

Shop Downtown Baraboo
After Lunch head in to Downtown Baraboo for some shopping, there are store for the whole family. For the kids, Just Imagine, A Sense of Adventure & Labrynth Games. Some of Mom favorites might be Bekah Kates, Countryside Refind, Spa Serenity, Etcetera by BHL or Lillian Verrall.
The collector in your group will appreciate Eclectic Treasures, Village Booksmith, A Vintage Coop, or Oak Street Antiques. When the shopping heats you back up, stop in for ice cream at Green Vine or Tin Roof Dairy.
If you need a bit more of a pick me up for the drive home stop at Coffee Bean Connection for iced coffee deliciousness!

If you happen to be in Baraboo on a Thursday evening stay for the fun of Concert on the Square, every Thursday, June to September at 7pm on the Courthouse Lawn. It’s a magical part of Baraboo!
