GPOE on Tour at Balanced Rock Winery
The GPOE on Tour is delighted to embrace this new addition to Baraboo, Balanced Rock Winery (It is going to be the summer hot spot for sure!)
Here in Wisconsin we love our summers and want to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather as much as possible, at Balanced Rock you can sit outdoors while sipping wine and enjoying the sun. Your eyes are in for a treat, Balanced Rock overlooks the Baraboo Golf Course and offers amazing views of Devils Lake State Park. If the weather is being uncooperative don’t worry because inside there is a gorgeous bar and large windows so you can still enjoy the view.
Side Note: Devil’s lake is where the owners found their inspiration for the name of their winery. Towering high above Devils Lake is the original Balanced Rock.
Up and Coming Music Venue
Prepare to be entertained with live music to soothe your soul and rock your body. You won’t want to miss this line up! Balanced Rock Winery is planning on having live music every Wednesday and Friday evening, check out their facebook page for events.
GPOE on Tour Event will be enjoying the divine voice and musical talents of 12- time Madison Area Music Association award winner Shawndell Marks.
A Wisconsin Winery you won’t want to miss
Owners Matt and Kristin Boegner have been working hard so that we can all enjoy this beautiful new winery. This will definitely be a winery that you will want to add to your list of wineries to tour in Wisconsin.
By mid-summer the Boegner’s plan on featuring 10 of their exclusive Balanced Rock Wines, it will be a delight to have some new local wines to add to our list of favorites.

Everything you want in a Wisconsin Winery
Balanced Rock Winery delivers on everything you want in a Wisconsin Wine experience, a spectacular view, great wine, beautiful music, good food and lots of fun. Owners Kristin and Matt along with their staff were the perfect hosts and make you feel very welcome. Baraboo is the perfect backdrop for this venue, the Baraboo Bluffs provide an amazing setting, you can take a deep breath and relax as soon as you step onto the patio at Balanced Rock. Currently you can delight in the 5 satisfying (soon to be 10) wines available, we enjoy the Frontenac Rose and Brianna. Music is provided on Wednesdays and Fridays, the air will be filled with the sweet sounds of local musicians. A small but delicious menu is available, the carnitas nachos and pub pretzel are both filling and yummy. Locals are enjoying this new winery, it will definitely be a hot spot for tourists and locals alike.
