GPOE on Tour at Leatherberry Farm and Maze, get lost and have fun in the hemp or sunflower maze. Yes you read that right, Wisconsin’s first ever hemp maze is in Baraboo Wisconsin at Leatherberry Acres! This place is not only fun but also educational, bam you can go to sleep at night knowing you mastered parenting for the day after a trip to Leatherberry. Learn about hemp farming and all the uses of the plant. You can also learn about bees, farming equipment, animals, farming and so much more. The best part is you and your kids will be having so much fun you won’t even realize all the knowledge you’re absorbing.

Tyler and Karalee Leatherberry first opened the Acres in 2015 and it just keeps growing and getting better. So much fun to be had, make sure you plan to spend a few hours at the acres. Of course they have the hemp and sunflower maze, also there is a petting zoo, the barrel train ride, 200’ zip line, slides and more! If you go in the fall then you get to enjoy the corn maze and pumpkin patch along with lots of Halloween fun.

Inside the pull barn is a place to sit and get a snack if your getting hungry from all that running around. Palermo’s pizza can be cooked while you play, or just grab a few snacks at their snack bar but save room for dessert with cedar crest ice cream. Fill your bellies and head back out for more play and maze fun. Greatest Place on Earth will have our truck on site for you to shop all the GPOE goods, including our newest Blue and Gold Shirts!

We were blessed with a beautiful day when we visited Leatherberry Acres, the sunflowers were in full bloom and much fun was had. Farm tours are given on a wagon ride, which is fun for the whole family. Stay busy in the maze with a game of clue! So much to do you can spend hours there, we watched little ones play on the playground, ride the zipline and take a bucket train ride. The owners put much care and effort into Leatherberry for everyone to enjoy. After the sunflowers are gone the pumpkins will start to show up and then you can enjoy a corn maze. Definitely add this place to your day in Baraboo!
