GPOE on Tour at Von Klaus Winery

GPOE on Tour can’t wait to check out Von Klaus Winery. Von Klaus has had a home in Baraboo Wisconsin since 1999, with a small start the original owner Clint Clingerman made his wines at the Farm Kitchen Restaurant. Wanting to have his own location he found a home in historic Downtown Baraboo. In 2016 Kenn Parker purchased the winery and this spring he has recently moved to a new location on 3rd Ave.

What to expect at Von Klaus Winery

While hanging out with GPOE on Tour at Von Klaus Winery, you will be able to find a wine to fit your taste buds with 20 different available wines. The tasting room has a nice open feeling to it and the bar is covered by beautiful wood planks. Enjoy a $5 tasting in which you get to try several of the fruity wines. Using original recipes with natural ingredients and no preservatives or added sulfites makes this wine a top notch experience.

Von Klaus Winery Wines

Staying in true Baraboo fashion some of the wines have Baraboo inspired names. Devil’s dry is dry but fruity, Devil’s red is the sweet sister of the dry and they both of course got its name from our beautiful Devil’s Lake. Most have a fun name ringing true of their fruit inspired taste, Ruby Raz, Wild Cherry, Marry me Berry and Millions of Peaches are all fresh and fruity tasting. Be prepared to enjoy some delicious wine, great company and relaxing atmosphere with GPOE

After the GPOE on Tour at Von Klaus Winery

Perfect place to stop in and have a nice wine tasting! A great location for Von Klaus Winery in Downtown Baraboo and we are happy to see them settling into their new home. We had lots of golfers on par for the evening and gave away a great gift box along with a wine tasting and food pairing from Von Klaus. We enjoyed the wine slushie which was so refreshing on a warm summer night. Baraboo Concerts on the Square was playing a beautiful melody of music in the background and we saw so many of our GPOE friends which always makes us smile. It was a wonderful evening with good wine, make sure to add Von Klaus to your winery tour!
